currenlu aims to make currenlu.com usable on any device, in any browser and with any assistive technology. This statement sets out what has been done, which shortcomings remain and how to report a problem.
Our approach
Accessibility is treated as part of building and maintaining this website, not as a separate project. Whenever a page is added or the design is changed, we check that the content can still be read with a screen reader, operated with a keyboard and enlarged in the browser. This statement covers the pages published under currenlu.com.
Other ways to reach us
If a page on currenlu.com does not work for you, the same information is available without the website. Reach us by telephone on 01865 402 718, by email at hello@currenlu.com or by post at 14 Cowley Court Lane, Oxford OX4 1DE, and on request we will send the content of a page in another form.
Reporting a barrier
Please report any accessibility problem by email to hello@currenlu.com or by telephone on 01865 402 718. A short note on the page, the difficulty and the device or assistive technology involved helps us reproduce the fault; we usually reply within five working days and explain what we will do about it.
Known limitations
Some pictures are general illustrations and carry a short alternative text rather than a detailed description.
Measures taken
The site is built from semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, one main heading per page and descriptive link texts. The main content and the navigation are marked as separate regions, and every page declares its language for screen readers. Informative images have text alternatives, decorative ones are marked as such.
Text, links and buttons are shown with a contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 against their background. Sizes are set in relative units, so text can be enlarged in the browser without content being cut off, and links, menus and form fields can be used with the keyboard alone.
Conformance
We aim for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. At present this site is only partially conformant: most content satisfies the guidelines, while the points listed below do not. Where a requirement cannot be met immediately, we look for another way of supplying the information.
Preparation of this statement
The present statement was prepared on 23 October 2026 on the basis of our own internal assessment. We inspected the principal page types with a keyboard, at an increased zoom setting and with a screen reader; no external audit was commissioned. The statement is reviewed once a year and after any substantial change to the website.
