What helps us reply properly the first time
A short, specific message gets a more useful answer than a general one. Here is what we find helpful to know, whether you are asking about a course, a price or a place on a session. None of it needs to be polished; plain notes are fine.
About you and your work
Tell us whether you are a reporter, a camera operator or a bit of both, and roughly how much experience you have. If you work for a local station, a student channel or on your own, say so, because it changes which course we point you towards. Mention any kit you already use, such as a shoulder-mounted camera or a phone rig. A sentence or two on what you want to be able to do after training is enough for us to suggest a sensible starting point.
About the course you want
Name the course or courses you are considering, for example Field Camera Operation, On-Camera Reporting or Editing for Broadcast. If you are not sure, describe the problem you are trying to solve, such as shaky handheld shots or nerves on a piece to camera, and we will match it to a session. Tell us whether you are enquiring for yourself or for a small group, and how many people would attend. If you need a written quotation, say that in your message and we will confirm the details in writing.
Practical details
Let us know which weeks you could realistically attend and whether you can travel to our classroom at 14 Cowley Court Lane, Oxford. Mention any access needs or adjustments that would make a session easier, so we can plan for them in advance. Include the best email address or phone number to reach you, and say which you prefer.
