Nothing is bought on this website. These answers explain how an enquiry becomes a booking, how you pay, and what happens if your plans change.
How do I order a course?
Send an enquiry through the contact page saying which course you want and any dates that suit you. We reply with a written quotation or confirmation listing the course, the dates, what is included and the price. Your place is arranged once you have agreed to that in writing. There is no online checkout.
How do I pay?
After you confirm the quotation, we send an invoice. You pay it by bank transfer using the details and reference on the invoice. We do not take card payments or payments through the website, so please do not send payment details by e-mail or through the contact form.
What does the price include?
The price covers tutor time, use of cameras, microphones, tripods and editing workstations during sessions, recorded feedback and the course materials. Optional extras such as additional field days or edit suite time are listed separately on your quotation. Travel to Oxford and personal items like clothing are not included.
What can change the price?
The main factors are the number of training days, how much one-to-one coaching you want, the size of the group and whether you add extras. A mix of several courses is priced from the days involved. Because needs differ, the written quotation, not the calculator, is the figure that counts.
What happens if I need to cancel?
Tell us in writing as soon as you know. What is refundable depends on how close the start date is and what has already been arranged, as set out in our Payment and Refund Policy. We will give you the exact position for your booking and answer any questions before you decide.
How is a refund paid?
Where a refund is due under the policy, we return it by bank transfer to the account it came from, or to another account you give us in writing. We confirm the amount before sending it. We do not refund by card because we do not take card payments.
Can I change the dates after confirming?
Often yes, if you ask in good time. Contact us with the dates you would prefer and we will check them against tutor and room availability. If a change is possible we confirm it in writing and reissue the quotation if anything shifts.
Can my employer pay instead of me?
Yes. Tell us when you enquire and give the name and billing address the invoice should carry. We address the quotation and invoice to them, and payment is made by bank transfer in the same way. Please include any purchase reference your employer needs.
